USACE 27-Mar-97 The Reclamation District expressed an interest in a NSA. The
District will address in the Project Information Report (PIR).
FEMA 28-Mar-97 No NSA.
EPA
BOR 17-Apr-97 Not having done any detailed examination it would seem to
feasible to abandon levee and set it back. Report identifies
two structures that should be relocated. One is a BLM
structure. Coordinate with Nature conservancy. Unlikely
BOR has money for this project.

NRCS 4-Apr-97 NRCS might be able to assist the Corps in the NSA being
being investigated by the Corps in the PIR.

CALFED 17-Apr-97 CALFED has identified the Consumnes as a high priority for
floodplain restoration. The Consumnes is the only undammed
tributary in the Delta. It is an irreplaceable source of sediment
which can "naturally" rebuild shallow habitats along the
Mokelumne River and in the North Delta. Several endangered
species use habitats in the Consumnes floodplain and river.
CALFED supports NSA for this project.
DWR 28-Mar-97 Need to enlarge flood carrying capacity in this area. Potential
for set back levees. Work/coordinate with Nature
Conservancy and CAL-FED as they have plans/properties
in this area.
