This
tour will be by boat and will leave from Pier 9 in
San Francisco
, cross the Bay to the
Port
of
Oakland
, and tour the harbor which is currently being deepened by the Corps
to 50 feet MLLW. The deepening project includes the Middle
Harbor Enhancement Area, an environmental restoration and dredge
material resuse site within the harbor.

Van
(space limited) will pick up at 8:30 a.m. at the St. Francis Hotel and
then drive to Pier 9, where the boat will be waiting, then Pier 9 to Oakland
via boat. |
