
The South Pacific Division (SPD) is no stranger to disaster management. Over the last 30 years, SPD has ably serviced 52 Presidential Disaster Declarations. Most recently SPD has met the challenges of responding to the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake, the 1994 Northridge Earthquake, and the major floods of 1995, 1997 and 1998. More recently SPD has responded to the Cerro Grande Fire in New Mexico and flooding in Arizona.
