USACE SPD develops small businesses and maximizes their opportunities for our procurements within SPD’s footprint on a continual basis, thereby ensuring a broad base of capable small business firms to support our mission and strengthen our Nation’s economic development.
What Does SPD Buy?
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers buys a variety of supplies, services, construction and engineering services.
Examples of these acquisitions
- Construction – New Construction, Renovations, Upgrades in associate with Fire Stations, Border Patrol Stations, Airfields, Fencing, Lighting, HVAC, Drainage, Roofing, Medical, Office, Painting, Water processing System, Paving, Retrofits, Levees, Dams, interior and exterior repair.
- Engineering Services -- Concept studies, Master Planning, Engineering Studies/Assessments, Restoration, Data Collection and Analysis, all types of surveying and mapping, engineering design and construction and Construction Phases Services.
- Other Services – Boring Samples/Testing, Water Quality Sampling, Trash Collection, Grounds Maintenance, Janitorial, Remediation, Environmental Consultation, Oversee and Maintain Recreational Park.
- Supplies and Equipment – Riprap, Generators, Turbines, HVAC Equipment, Kitchen Equipment, Electronic Gear, Petroleum Products, Repair Parts, Construction Equipment, Shelters, Herbicide, lumber, cement, computers and peripheral equipment, and publications.
