South San Francisco Bay Shoreline Study
Caleb Conn, San Francisco District Project Manager, joins Santa Clara Valley Water District staff members Norma Camacho, Chief Operating Officer and Rechelle Blank, Engineering Unit Manager, to present the current Feasibility Study to Brig. Gen. Turner, South Pacific Division commander, on Feb. 12, 2014, at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Education Center, Alviso, Calif. The study looks at both Ecosystem Restoration and Flood Risk Management in an area critical to the water district. Two Non-Federal Sponsors (NFS), the California Coastal Conservancy and the Santa Clara Valley Water District (SCVWD) Board of Directors, teamed with Lt. Col. John Baker, San Francisco District commander, and his District team to show Brig. Gen. Turner projects during a day-long tour that began in Santa Clara County and ended at the Port of Redwood City.
