    USACE, Air Force break ground on KC-46 hangar at March ARB

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Los Angeles District joined Air Force officials, community partners, stakeholders and contractors Dec. 16 to mark the start of construction on a new KC-46 Pegasus hangar and training facility at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside County, California.

  • U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announces finalization of nationwide permits

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that it will reissue 56 existing nationwide permits and issue one new permit for work in wetlands and other waters that are regulated by Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and/or Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899. One existing permit will not be reissued.
  • U.S. Army Fort Wingate Depot Activity invites public comment on proposed building demolition

    The U.S. Army Fort Wingate Depot Activity (FWDA) is planning a project to investigate and remediate contamination under two existing buildings at FWDA. In accordance with 36 CFR § 800.6(a)(4), the Army is providing an opportunity for members of the public to express their views on resolving the adverse effects associated with the demolition of Buildings 005 and 006 at FWDA.
