Boat license training course participants have exemption from no-wake rule at Cochiti Lake July 15-17
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Albuquerque District staff at Cochiti Lake is scheduled to participate in a boater’s license training course from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, daily from July 15-17, 2025, at the lake. The Albuquerque District announced today, Feb. 26, 2025, that the flow rate and water levels downstream of Cochiti Dam have returned to normal after an unintended water release from the dam caused fluctuations in the Rio Grande channel yesterday.
