Day use recreation areas at Cochiti Lake closed due to high water levels
Due to high water levels inundating all of the day use areas on the Cochiti side of the lake, these areas have been closed until further notice. This includes the Swim Beach and the boat ramp day use area.

Tetilla Peak Recreation Area and Campground closed for 2023 recreation season due to infrastructure improvement project
The entire Tetilla Peak Recreation Area and Campground and the Santa Cruz Day Use Area, including the Santa Cruz Road, are closed to visitors during the 2023 recreation season due to a construction project funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Albuquerque District to hold events for National Public Lands Day, Sept. 24, 2022
The Albuquerque District welcomes volunteers to continue the annual tradition of public service by participating in this year’s National Public Lands Day on Saturday, Sept. 24. There will be events at Abiquiu Lake, Cochiti Lake, and Conchas Lake, N.M. and at John Martin Reservoir and Trinidad Lake in Colorado.
